The Salvation Army’s 18th Annual Flower Power

Silent Auction & Luncheon

Join The Salvation Army for an unforgettable Flower Power Luncheon, back LIVE at the Fairmont Hotel on August 26th, 2022.

The event begins with a silent auction and features an interactive signature floral design demonstration by floral designer, John James of John James Designs. The luncheon benefits San Francisco children served by The Salvation Army’s after school and back to school programs in neighborhoods across the City, including the Tenderloin, Chinatown, South of Market and the Avenues. For almost 20 years The Salvation Army has annually sent more than 1,000 San Francisco school children from low-income families back to the classroom not only with brand new backpacks and supplies, but also with higher self-esteem and confidence.

Please join us live on August 26th, 2022 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm.

You’ll enjoy:

• Inspiring Stories from Kroc Center’s youth program
• Highly anticipated live floral design show, featuring designer John James and emceed by KPIX 5’s Juliette Goodrich
• Silent Auction featuring designer handbags and jewelry, exclusive vacation packages, and local experiences from popular Bay Area restaurants, vineyards, hotels, and concert venues

For more than 135 years The Salvation Army has faithfully and tirelessly served those who need it most in San Francisco. During the COVID-19 pandemic, The Salvation Army has been on the front lines of an unprecedented health crisis, experiencing more than a 25 percent increase in need. While the San Francisco Bay Area begins to reopen, the need for support remains great as many now struggle with pandemic poverty. The Salvation Army is committed to providing resources and emotional and spiritual support, to the families we serve in San Francisco as we journey through this time of regrowth together.

Thank you for partnering with us in this Flower Power and together we can do the most good.
